My name is Amanda and Iβm the creator of Sugar and Spice Trading which is a company that specializes in creating Modern and Minimalist Labels for all of your household essentials. I have a deep love for Interior Design, discovering new little local jems here in California, and creating the life of my dreams.
Now, story time and the reason why I created this blog! I love organization and believe that when your home is tidy, it helps bring clarity to your mind. So, I kept seeing bloggers on Instagram labeling their pantries and spice cabinets with these sleek, modern labels and I immediately needed to get them. Of course along with the labels I was gonna need some jars! So I started searching all over for the cylindrical glass jars with the wooden lid thatβs been sprawled all over the internet and found prices that were sky high for an item that I would need to purchase at least 30 of! So thatβs when I thought maybe I can order them wholesale and even sell them to others at a more reasonable price. After hours of searching, I came to realize that the US didnβt have any local manufacturers that made the exact jar I was looking for so I started searching all over AliBaba and found some amazing dealsβ¦.until I saw the shipping costsβ¦. They basically amounted to the same thing Iβd be paying to purchase it on Amazon so I tabled that idea until I could create some income in a more efficient way.
Which brings me to Labels! It was the most cost-effective option and something I could pour my creativity into and what better place to display that creativity other than Etsy. So fast forward to today, that is what Iβm working on as of right now and Iβm going to take you all on that journey with me! Weβre going to talk about what methods of growing my Etsy shop is working for me personally and what has proven to be a fail. Iβll share tips and tricks on organization and show you what I will be implementing in my home to bring that sense of calm and clarity. Iβll bring a lot of home decor, recipes, and even some adventuring! Follow along for the ride, you wonβt wanna miss it.
